2013 State Finals Schedule

Wednesday June 5th:

9:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. - Contestant Stall and RV Check In at Prowers County Fairgrounds

4:00 p.m. Rodeo Office Check-In
8:00 p.m. Mandatory Meeting and Ice Cream Social at the College - Must be checked in with office before the meeting starts.

Thursday June 6th:

10:00 a.m. 1st Performance (1st go)
2:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. Bowling
7:00 p.m. 2nd Performance. (1st go)

Friday June 7th:

9:00 a.m. Cutting (Large Arena)
10:00 a.m. Scholarship interviews start @ 10:00 a.m. (Secretary Office) -Schedule will be posted under Scholarships on the website.
1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Pool Party
5:30 p.m. Senior Night (Large Arena)

Saturday June 8th:

10:00 a.m. 3rd Performance (2nd go)
1:00 p.m. Potluck Barbeque after morning performance (Please bring something to share)-Location: Little Park by Office
3:00 p.m. General Membership Meeting and Election @ College
7:00 p.m. 4th Performance (2nd go)
Raffle Drawing During Rodeo Performance

Sunday June 9th:

10:00 a.m. Championship Round
2:00 p.m. Awards and Dinner - $10.00 per meal and you will pay at the door.

This is a one (1) time fee for the finals per contestant

CASH ONLY (for all fees when paid at Finals). Pay out will be by check for Tax Purposes.

Full Hook Up Parking and Stalls will be assigned.

Camping Fees:
Hook Ups: $80.00
Stalls: $60.00 per Stall (You will receive $20.00 back if you clean your stall)
Dry Camping: $40.00
Tie Out or Pens: OK

HIGH SCHOOL STATE FINALS POINTS 2012

1. Only your 10 best rodeos Count (If you have questions please read Guidelines under Membership Info)

2. All of your All-Around Points Count

3. 1st Go is Worth-10 points

4. 2nd Go is Worth-10 points

5. Championship Round-10 points

6. Average is Worth-10 points

7. You can earn 40 points at the State Finals per event.

8. Team Events-When coming into the state finals, both team members points are added together.

Example: Ribbon Roping-Joe 50 points/Jane 34 points, Now their points are 84 points. They can earn 10 points apiece so if they win the 1st go they receive 20 points as a team, but only 10 points goes towards their own All-Around. So now the team has 104 points.

9. Top 4 in each event goes to Nationals

FYI- If you make the National Team you will need to come to the Awards Ceremony and fill out paperwork. Both parents must sign all the forms unless one parent has Sole Custody (please note this on forms). COST AT NATIONALS: There is a charge for the Jackpot ($150.00 each event), Stalls ($120+ per stall) , and Hookups ($324 Full Service -$108.00 Tent), please plan accordingly. National Fees will be collected at State Finals Awards with paperwork.

Average: Buckle for 1st Place, Prize Money for 2nd-4th ($50,$40,$30 - cash).
